Meet the Team

Amber Williams
Amber is the Chief Executive Officer for the Charity. Amber looks after staff, and the management of the Charity. She is focused on the growth of the Charity, and creating lasting networks and partnerships.
"Community development is my passion. I value the strengths and assets of individuals and groups, and want to engage and support people to grow strong communities and make change."

Maddie Williams
Maddie is the Housing & Facilities Manager for the Charity. Maddie looks after the Almshouse and it's Residents, and the day to day running of The Beehive Centre.
"I love being part of such a vibrant community, and really value the skills and experience all of our members bring. "

Louiza Wadsworth
Louiza is the Community and Engagement coordinator at The Beehive Centre. Louiza sets up activities, manages our kitchen, and runs our Lunch Club, Stay and Play, and Café. She also welcomes new people to the centre and supports our volunteers in their roles.

Lara Blackwood
Lara is the Beehive Centre Cook. As well as cooking for our busy Tuesday Lunch Club and our Thursday Café, Lara also runs the Cooking & Baking Club on Mondays.
"I enjoy connecting people through food. I love to see people eating together and knowing that we are providing a good, low-cost, & hearty meal for those who want or need it."

Steve Williams
Steve is our site caretaker and general handyman! He manages the day-to-day maintenance of both The Beehive Centre and Almshouse, and liaises with our external contractors.

Jack Hinchliffe
Jack is the Gardener at The Beehive Centre and Almshouses. Jack looks after the beautiful outdoor spaces, and runs the Beehive Gardening Group in the spring and summer.
